Chatham Life & Style

The Ciompi Quartet has a long and fruitful relationship with Duke’s faculty in composition, and with the students in its Ph.D. program. The quartet has commissioned and premiered many works over the years. This concert brings together four of these, highlighting the unique voices of Stephen Jaffe, Scott Lindroth, Anthony Kelley, and John Supko. It is a joyous, startling, and powerful program that reveals the deep talent and imagination of Duke’s composition, mentors of the next generation!
