Due to the forecast for winter weather, Duke University and Duke University Health System will activate the severe weather and emergency conditions policy from noon Wednesday through noon Thursday. In-person classes between noon Wednesday and noon Thursday will be canceled. If instructors are able to provide sufficient notice to students, they may transition their in-person classes during that time to an online format, but students should not be penalized if unable to attend. This program is for students who wish to become familiar with London’s cosmopolitan character and experience the work of London’s culturally diverse arts sectors, both mainstream and alternative, including theatre, dance, music, visual art, and the tourism industry.

Duke in Venice

The program is designed to provide you with the opportunity to study the art of politics and the politics of art. Venice International University, which is located on the island of San Servolo in the spectacular Venetian lagoon, will be the site for both student residences and indoor classroom facilities.
