Due to extreme heat and the chance of thunderstorms, this week’s concert is moving indoors to The Pinhook.

Space is limited. We encourage you to come and go throughout the night, but please note that if the venue is at capacity, reentries will need to go to the back of the line.

While downtown, support local and grab a bite to eat while still catching the show! Luna Rotisserie and Empanadas, Pie Pushers, and Oak House Durham will be broadcasting the concert live on WXDU 88.7 FM.

Doors open at 6:00 PM | Music from 6:30–11:00 PM.

The final night of Music Near the Gardens pays tribute to the Save The Pinhook events that helped bail out the venue in 2016, when it was faced with $80,000 in back taxes. Artists and supporters rallied with a series of pop-up concerts and fundraisers, allowing The Pinhook to pay its debt and maintain its role as an essential community space in Durham.

This special evening is about more than just the music—it’s a celebration of The Pinhook’s communities of artists, activists, and creatives. With a lineup of surprise performers from The Pinhook’s past and present, the night will be a testament to The Pinhook’s enduring impact and the artists, audiences, and supporters who have helped sustain it over the years.

The featured bands are nationally-touring acts that have made you cry AND have made you dance, so get ready to move at this closing event.
