Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield brings her singular brand of Americana-inflected indie rock to Duke Performances for a virtual residency, culminating in an April 10 performance filmed specifically for Duke and Durham audiences.
During her residency, Crutchfield will sit down with Kym Register, leader of the Durham-based alt-country outfit Loamlands and owner of the Pinhook, for a virtual public conversation exploring Crutchfield’s path through indie and punk scenes, as well as the impact her Southerness has had on her work.
