January 18 – 19, 2018

On Friday, January 19, 2018, heralded vocal quartet New York Polyphony will share the stage with pianist Jeremy Denk and violinist Stefan Jackiw, performing the source material — including gospel and Civil War standards — for the Ives sonatas rendered by Denk and Jackiw. Prior to their performance, New York Polyphony will perform readings of new works by Duke’s graduate composition students in the Department of Music.
