Cheryl is a native of Cornwall, New York and currently based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She has worked as a theatre artist, stage manager, educator, and grant writer. Cheryl has been active in the local arts community for the past ten years, holding leadership roles with the National Women’s Theatre Festival, serving as resident stage manager with ShaLeigh Dance Works, being a teaching artist at the Durham Arts Council, and as a member of Bulldog Ensemble Theater. She has a B.A. in philosophy from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She joined the Duke Arts team in July 2023.
