Cheryl Edson Artist Services Coordinator

Originally from Cornwall, New York, Cheryl is a Chapel Hill–based arts professional with a background in theatre, stage management, and education. Cheryl has been active in the local arts community for the past ten years, holding leadership roles with the National Women’s Theatre Festival, serving as resident stage manager with ShaLeigh Dance Works, being a teaching artist at the Durham Arts Council, and as a member of Bulldog Ensemble Theater. She was part of the 2025 Emerging Leadership Institute cohort with the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. Cheryl has a B.A. in philosophy from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and joined the Duke Arts team in July 2023.
