This immersive master class explores contemporary dance as a means of storytelling, self-discovery, and identity. Rooted in interdisciplinary practices, the session integrates contemporary dance technique with somatic exploration, and improvisation. Participants will engage in guided movement inquiries inspired by weaving an embodied methodology developed by Johanna that fuses visual art, journaling, and dance to deepen creative expression.

Structure:

Improvisation & Movement Exploration: Engaging with structured improvisational prompts inspired by storytelling, identity, and personal
expression.
Composition & Phrase Work: Developing a movement sequence that explores texture, rhythm, and spatial awareness.
Reflection & Discussion: A closing circle where dancers journal, share insights, and reflect on the embodied experience.
