Rich with stunning musical performances, the documentary Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music captures Taylor Mac’s marathon, 24-hour immersive theatrical experience. Performing live for 24 hours, with each hour representing a decade of American musical history, Taylor Mac’s one-time-only concert offered an alternative take on U.S. history. This documentary version of Mac’s groundbreaking concert allows audiences to experience an abridged version of this seminal work, complete with a view of Mac’s elaborate, decade-specific costumes.
