Sadiyah Bashir is a freelance writer and poet. Her poetry has been showcased on various media such as: Al-Jazeera, Apple, and UNICEF. Her first self-published book entitled Seven explores trauma and triumph through the lens of Black Muslim womanhood.
Rashida James-Saadiya is a visual artist, writer, and cultural educator invested in transforming social perceptions through creative literature. Her work explores migration, identity, and the transmission of spirituality through poetry and song amongst Muslim women in West Africa and the American South.
