This workshop is open only to Duke faculty and staff, and housekeeping, dining, facilities, and busing staff are specifically welcome.
The purpose of this workshop is to help participants cultivate creativity as a daily, sustainable practice through reflection, experimentation, and shared intention. We will begin with an introduction to gel-plate printing, using color, texture, and layering techniques to create a collection of printed papers. Participants will then explore collage to create a colorful cover before constructing a two-pamphlet Z-fold book. Through guided prompts and playful material exploration participants will develop creative practices they can carry into their everyday lives
