Community Workshop in Partnership with Duke Dance Program: Open to all – no Duke affiliation required!

Join us for an engaging open-level tap workshop led by international dancer and choreographer Nicole “Pinky” Thomas.

This dynamic class invites dancers of all levels to explore the foundational techniques, vocabulary, and rhythmic sensibilities of tap dance.

Whether you’re new to tap or looking to refine your skills, this class will deepen your understanding of rhythm, musicality, and the rich stylistic and historical roots of tap.

Through guided exercises and creative combinations, you’ll develop clearer sound, enhanced dynamics, tone, and shading while discovering your unique voice as a tap dancer.

All are welcome!
