Core-Focused Yoga

Taught by Kristin Clotfelter

Community Workshop in Partnership with Duke Dance Program: Open to all – no Duke affiliation required!

This movement practice is designed to awaken and strengthen your core to support ease, stability, and freedom in everyday movement. Through mindful sequencing we’ll explore how activating the deep core muscles can support efficient alignment for your spine, hips, and shoulders. Expect a blend of grounding breathwork, dynamic flow, and longer holds that challenge the body while cultivating awareness and strength. The class is moderately challenging yet accessible to all levels—designed for anyone seeking to build functional strength, enhance postural balance, and move with greater confidence both on and off the mat.

Limited mats and blankets will be available. Students are encouraged to bring their own mats and props if they have them.
