About the Workshop
This workshop will teach and utilize hypnosis techniques to help participates to release their anxiety and discover the power of the unconscious mind. Participates will be encouraged to use their inner creativity to create images and discover themselves through the creative process.
About the Instructor

Sherly Fan is a multimedia artist who is currently pursuing an MFA in Experimental Documentary Arts at Duke University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Textile and Fashion Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Associate’s degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After getting her Bachelor’s degree, she worked in the New York fashion industry for a year.
During the pandemic period, she studied psychological therapy and hypnosis and later earned therapist and hypnosis certificates in China. Given her wide range of interests, she expanded her art practice to include different mediums, and she aims to develop a unique point of aesthetics driven by innovation and take the responsibility to address social issues.
About the Location
This workshop will meet in the Rubenstein Arts Center Computer Lab, RAC 234.
The Rubenstein Arts Center is located between East and West campus, off of bus routes (C1, C2 & CSW) that run along Campus Drive.
