About the Instructor

Sherly Fan is a multimedia artist who is currently pursuing an MFA in Experimental Documentary Arts at Duke University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Textile and Fashion Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Associate’s degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After getting her Bachelor’s degree, she worked in the New York fashion industry for a year.

During the pandemic period, she studied psychological therapy and hypnosis and later earned therapist and hypnosis certificates in China.
