Paint Pop Art desserts inspired by Wayne Thibeaud

Partnership with DukeCreate & DuWell

Taught by Christine Holton

About the Workshop

Desserts and Sweets are the stars of these paintings inspired by Wayne Thibeaud, the colorful still life artist. Morton Wayne Thiebaud was an American painter known for his richly colored works depicting commonplace objects, especially cakes, pies and other treats. He painted still lifes of objects from real observation and rendered them all in bright colours and strong light.

We will feature a slice of delicious cake and mix a variety of color tints along the way.
