Paint Like Afremov

About the Workshop

Learn some of the art techniques used to create the illusion of three dimensions on a two-dimensional surface as we create our own versions of Leonid Afremov’s painting Alley by the Lake. In addition to learning about vanishing point we will explore how careful placement of hue, tint, tone, and shade can add perspective to any painting. At the completion of the workshop, students will leave with a completed 11×14 painting.
