“Paint Like” Jim Dine
Partnership with DukeCreate & VisArts

About the Workshop

Join DukeCreate and Duke University Union (DUU) committee member, VisArts, at our second “Paint Like” offering of the Spring semester!
Jim Dine is a 20th century contemporary artist, who has long been a self-described romantic artist. He has a strong interest in popular imagery and commercial objects, and embraced the heart as a template through which he could explore relationships of color, texture, and composition. Students can experience the same as we create a heart-themed finished piece influenced by the pop art work of Jim Dine.
