About the Workshop

In order to minimize health and safety risks from COVID-19 to our patrons, the larger community, and Duke students, faculty, and staff, Duke University has adopted new policies on spring semester classes, residential life, travel, events, and campus visitors. In keeping with the university’s directives, we are cancelling in-person DukeCreate workshops for the remainder of the spring semester.

About the Instructor

Sandra Bermond is the Innovation Co-Lab’s program manager. Her main focus is to construct an all-encompassing and interesting curriculum for the Co-Lab’s roots program, as well as lend her knowledge in the areas of Design and Website Creation. Sandra has a passion for making things, both digital and physical and spends the best part of her days creating or improving things previously created.

About Duke Arts Create

Duke Arts Create is a series of free, hands-on arts workshops designed to help all Duke students, including graduate and professional students (including Duke Health), as well as Duke faculty and staff develop a variety of creative skills in the visual arts, dance and movement, creative writing and more. Workshops are open to all skill levels and backgrounds. Most workshops are held in the Duke Arts Annex, the Rubenstein Arts Center or the Duke Arts Office 2101 and are typically held weeknights from 6-8 p.m.
