Introduction to Contemporary Dance

Partnership with Duke Arts Create & DuWell

Taught by Courtney Liu

About the Workshop

Join MFA student Courtney Liu and the Embodiment student dance group for a contemporary dance workshop featuring beginner-friendly improvisation prompts and dance phrases. Low-stress, sweaty, and meditative, this workshop will lead us towards freedom and joy in movement while energizing the mind-body towards greater creativity, somatic awareness, connection to music, and general health and happiness. Join us in dancing away the winter blues and opening up space for a vibrant spring!

Note:  This event is open to the entire Duke Community.
