Riley Williams is a visual artist and communications professional from North Carolina. She earned her BA in Mass Communication from North Carolina Central University, with a concentration in media studies, where she first developed a love for multimedia content creation, journalism, and arts marketing. She also began working as an independent artist during college, which strengthened her interest in social media marketing and the North Carolina arts community.

Riley first connected with Duke Arts as a 2025 participant in the Charmaine McKissick-Melton Communications Fellowship program, completing a 10-week fellowship that deepened her passion for accessible arts communication. She rejoined the team in April 2026, bringing her experience in multimedia storytelling to help amplify Duke Arts’ programs, events, and community engagement.
