Ashley Bostian Marketing Manager

Ashley’s love of the performing arts began on stage — as a musician first, and later as an advocate for artists and audiences alike. Her passion for connecting people through arts and storytelling led her to a career in arts marketing, where she now crafts marketing and advertising strategies that bring world-class performances to life for audiences at Duke and in Durham as part of Duke Arts Presents.

Before joining Duke Arts in 2023, Ashley worked at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts at Appalachian State University, serving in marketing and creative roles. She got her start at National Harbor in Washington, DC, after earning a bachelor’s degree in music and mass communications from Emory & Henry College in Virginia.

Originally from North Carolina, Ashley also spent part of her childhood in the Dominican Republic — an experience that continues to shape her love of global arts and culture.
