I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, and hold a Masters of Professional Studies in Digital Photography from the School of Visual Arts in NYC.

For over a decade, I was an E-comm/product photographer/specialist at Macy’s ‘dot-com’ still-life studio. Additional freelance events, archival, and documentary work included the World Famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, the Museum of the City of New York, the Asia Society, and the South Street Seaport Museum in Manhattan, NYC.

My personal work includes explorations of the Self, where I aim to create work which peers behind the scenes of our place in the world. I love following my curiosities and treat photography as a memory holder, as an idea palace, as therapy, and as healer. I find a beauty in the seemingly mundane, and revel in how people inhabit their daily environment.

Currently I reside in Durham, NC, and have exhibited my work at galleries and cultural institutions such as Through This Lens, Durham Art Council, Durham Art Guild, Wilson Art Center, and Ment Bev Co., also freelancing as an event photographer for DukeArts Center for Documentary Studies: Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.

I share a creative space with my partner at Golden Belt Artist Studios #13, and you are more than welcome to reach out to me to schedule a visit.
