Mia Bolognesi: “Creating Art Can Bring Light”

Mia Bolognesi is a junior in high school who shares portraits she has created as a reminder that creating art can bring light even during dark times.

Mia Bolognesi is currently a junior in high school who wanted to share self portraits she has drawn, along with a portrait of Duke basketball player Tre Jones saying:
“Keep encouraging young artists to create during this time! We all need a little more to smile about. I wanted to create pieces that are bright and cheerful (even if they are black and white) to boost my positivity. To remind everyone that even if we are in dark times, creating art can bring light especially by sharing it with your community.”
