“I made this film during the COVID-19 pandemic—I wanted to do something different and something exciting. How could I possibly accomplish this while staying at home? I, like many others, couldn’t stand staying cooped up inside for too much longer, so I set up camp on my front lawn and lived within those confines for 72 hours straight. I want to show that there is something exciting and new anywhere you look, even on your grassy front lawn. Social distancing is how we flatten the curve, but that’s easier said than done. Continue creating, dare to be different, but most importantly, stay safe.”

Aaron Zhao (Class of 2022) is a visual arts and biology major, and is also earning a certificate in documentary studies. See more of his work here.
