Storytelling and Teach-In: Sudan and Global Liberation Struggles

Thu, May 22, 4–6 PM
Queen Street Magic Boat

A night of storytelling, remebering and visioning by Doha Medani, a Sudanese woman and community organizer raised in Greensboro. This event will be  an opportunity to explore what stories Doha holds from her childhood summers in Sudan and how they have served as portal to envision personal and structural trajectories without the shackles of oppression – and sometimes in spite of.

Attendees are asked to bring something to write on and with. There will be an opportunity for sharing one’s own stories and memories.

This event is part of the Trajectories exhibition open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from May 10 to June 10.
