Meet Duke Alumni at NPR & The Wall Street Journal

with The Chronicle & DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy
Journalism, Podcast & Creative Writing

Join The Chronicle on April 6 as Jon Hilsenrath ’89, senior writer at the Wall Street Journal, interviews NPR Beijing correspondent Emily Feng ’15 about the challenges—and adventure—of reporting in China. Both of the Chronicle veterans have reported from Asia and won some of journalism’s highest awards. Emily has won multiple awards for her human rights coverage and Jon was named a Pulitzer finalist for his coverage of the Federal Reserve and, with WSJ teams, for their reporting on the financial crisis and 9/11 terror attacks.

Presented with DEMAN and DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy.

  • Emily Feng ’15, Beijing Correspondent, NPR
  • Moderated by Jon Hilsenrath ’89, Senior Writer, Wall Street Journal
