Assistant Professor and Novelist
West is currently an Assistant Professor in University of San Francisco’s MFA in writing program, Monica also has an M.A. from New York University, and an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop where she was a Rona Jaffe Graduate Fellow. She has received a fellowship from Kimbilio Fiction, and she will be a Hedgebrook Writer in Residence on Whidbey Island in 2022. She currently lives and writes in Oakland.
