Light in the Attic
We invite you to peruse our favorite gems from the Nasher Museum’s archives! Here are special videos, articles and podcast episodes featuring artists who have visited the museum and whose work is part of our collection. Here, too, are some of our "greatest hits" among reviews in the arts press over the past 15 years. Refreshed weekly.

Call for Audio: Together Apart
In keeping with the spirit of shortwave radio, we invite you to transmit your own signals through CDS Shortwave’s community-sourced sonic exhibition station. The sounds you hear on the station are from our Sounds of Winter, On Break, and Encounters audio calls. Our fourth call for entry is Together Apart—we’d love to hear sounds from your every day in this not-so-everyday time.

Poem of the Day
The ever-evolving COVID-19 situation has disrupted our daily lives, forcing us to adapt to new realities of quarantine and social distancing. As plans and routines are put aside, many of us find ourselves with unusually large amounts of free time. Rather than be paralyzed by boredom, the Hart Leadership Program invites you to use this newfound time as an opportunity for reflection.

Care in Uncertain Times Syllabus
As we collectively deal with the implications of social distancing, stay-at-home orders, and a global pandemic, questions of care and self-care have become ever more important. These books, issues, and articles investigate different ways that care can bind together individuals and communities where larger institutions or governments fail to intervene. They show how radical care is essential to enduring precarity and to laying the groundwork for new futures.

Create Suffrage Memorabilia for Upcoming Exhibit
Duke Libraries staff are working from home to prepare for the upcoming suffrage exhibit, and invite you to join in! Take inspiration from the collection and create your own banners, pennants, or other items that reference the American women’s suffrage movement or other suffrage and voting rights struggles.

Duke Gardens Coloring Pages
We hope that people of all ages enjoy these images and fun facts about the plants and creatures in Duke Gardens. Are there Gardens plants or critters you would love to color and/or learn more about? Let us know!

Soothing Classical Music Playlists
The Durham Medical Orchestra connects volunteer musicians from the health professions and the community to promote wellness. While the DMO cannot rehearse or perform, it has created playlists in acknowledgement that "sharing classical music is a way of improving the well-being of our community."
